Ghollywood actor John Dumelo has been doing more of philanthropy than movie these days. He has been shuttling African countries and meeting up with some top government officials and rural people everywhere he goes.
Presently, seems his next project will be in Ghana and most certainly it is a collaboration with UNFPA to reduce the rate of Obstetric Fistula. He clearly is excited about it, as he posted the news to Instagram along with a photograph.
Was invited by the UNFPA to see how best we can collaborate and reduce the rate of obstetric fistula Ghana. I'm pleased to be part of this campaign....obstetric fistula is a hole between the vagina and rectum or bladder that is caused by prolonged obstructed labor, leaving a woman incontinent of urine or feces or both. For women with obstructed labor, labor that goes unattended, the labor can last up to six or seven days. About 1000 women suffer from this in ghana each year. letsmakeghanaabetterplace #togetherwecan
