$1 million offered for the impeachment of governor Fayose of Ekiti state

There is always drama in the Nigerian government. And why is Fayose always at the centre of many of the drama.

To think those lawmakers were offered $1million in this same Nigeria where many are complaining of lack of food, money, shelter and more...ah ah ah e beru olorun o (have the fear of God)!

The crisis rocking Ekiti State over arrests of some lawmakers and top government functionaries assumed a new twist on Tuesday as members of the house have alleged that they were offered a sum of $1 million to impeach the governor, Ayodele Fayose.

The lawmakers, who vowed not to allow themselves to be co-opted into any devilish plot to truncate the government of Fayose, added that they were prepared to spend the rest of their tenure in DSS cell instead of joining some evil-doers in this sinister intention.

At a press conference on Tuesday, Chairman, House Committee on Information, Hon. Gboyega Aribisogan , disclosed that eight lawmakers members had been visited by some men, who claimed to be officials of the DSS and made financial inducement if they key into the agenda.
